Dog Hydrotherapy & Swimming
Swimming is the perfect exercise for dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes.
Swimming is a non weight bearing form of exercise causing no unnecessary stress from impact to the dog’s body.
Our large, heated pool offers rehabilitation, fitness and fun swimming for your dog all year round!
Swimming at the beach is fun for your dog, but is not always safe, clean or council approved! Cold water swimming does not have the therapeutic benefits of swimming in warm water.
5 minutes of swimming is equal to 20 minutes of walking!

Orientation:
Your first visit is an orientation session designed to introduce your dog to the pool environment. Any vet referrals will be discussed and a suitable program of hydrotherapy will be developed. All dogs are showered first before entering the pool to remove loose hair and dirt helping to keep the pool hygienic. A life jacket will be fitted and the hydrotherapist will guide your dog through the process of entering and exiting safely from the pool.
Vet referral:
Club K9 requires a vet referral for any dogs recovering from surgery or injury, dogs with existing medical conditions and obese dogs. Club K9 recommends veterinarian approval for all other swim programs.
Please download veterinarian referral form here
Vaccinations:
All dogs must have current vaccinations. Homeopathic vaccinations are accepted.
